Catalog-Wide Visual Try-On

Virtual try-on across your entire catalog

Frictionless, immersive, and secure visual try-on across a shopper's complete catalog — not one flagship category. Gennoctua installs as a plugin, not an SDK, and is live in about three days.

How it works

From install to live in about three days

  1. 1

    Install the plugin

Gennoctua installs into your existing site or app as a lightweight plugin — no bulky SDK, no rebuild.

  2. 2

Shopper opts in and captures an image

Consent and image capture happen directly inside the plugin, at the point of use — nothing is collected upstream.

  3. 3

    Gennoctua renders and scores it

The shopper sees themselves in the product, alongside a Style, Fit & Match verdict grounded in their actual body or space.

  4. 4

The result stays with the shopper

The personalized render is cached on the shopper's own device — not retained on Gennoctua's or the retailer's servers.

Named categories

Built for the categories where "will this suit me" actually matters

No segment or persona can answer "will this suit someone like me" — only a render of the actual person or room can answer "will this suit me."

How Gennoctua actually handles a shopper's image

Consent and image capture happen directly inside the plugin, at the point of use. Generation is cloud-assisted today — on-device generation isn't yet mature enough to run at production quality, so we're honest about that rather than claim otherwise. The result is cached on the shopper's own device, not retained on Gennoctua's or the retailer's servers, and each install captures fresh rather than sharing an identity across apps.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is virtual try-on software?

Virtual try-on software lets a shopper see a product on themselves or in their own space before buying, instead of relying on a model or a generic product photo.

Which product categories does Gennoctua's try-on cover?

Apparel & footwear; eyewear, jewelry & bags; and furniture & décor — across a shopper's complete catalog, not a single flagship category.

Does virtual try-on reduce returns?

Gennoctua doesn't publish its own verified return-rate figures yet, so we won't quote a number we can't back up. The mechanism — confirming fit and style before checkout via Style, Fit & Match — is built specifically to address the fit-uncertainty that drives returns.

Is this a plugin or an SDK?

A plugin. That's a deliberate choice for a faster, lower-friction install than a traditional SDK requires — typically about three days.
